Lisa H. Keaton, CFP®, AIF®
 

Lisa H. Keaton is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® Designee, currently in her 31st year of practice, based in Smithtown, NY. Prior to directing Capital Financial Planning, Inc., Lisa served as manager of the Long Island division of the Financial Planning Department of a prominent East Coast bank. For several years, she was also a financial planner for a leading national financial services firm.

Lisa has taught workshops and conducted numerous seminars for senior citizens, women's groups and local organizations. Her comments have appeared in several well-known publications, including the NY Times, Newsday and Money Magazine.

As a contributing professional in Long Island's financial planning community, Ms. Keaton served as President of the Long Island Society of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners. Lisa also serves as an Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Society hearing securities cases. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association.  She holds an MA from Columbia University.

In her practice, Lisa specializes in investment advisory, retirement and tax planning. She works predominantly with individuals, families and small businesses.

Madge Chase, CFP®, CLTC

Margaret A. Chase (Madge) is a CERTIFIEDFINANCIALPLANNER™ professional, currently in her 19th year at Capital Financial Planning, Inc.  Madge's focus is investment, retirement, and education planning. She analyzes client portfolios and develops investment recommendations and financial plans for clients.

She is a member of the Financial Planning Association, the Financial Services Institute and The Women’s Financial Group.  She holds an AAS in Business and Finance.  Madge has also completed studies with the American College and C.W. Post Long Island University.  She is certified by NYS for the Long-Term Care Partnership Program. Her commentary has appeared in several familiar publications, including Newsday.

SUPPORT STAFF
 

 

Susan Meehan
 
Susan is our Administrative Assistant.  She brings extensive experience to our firm, having worked in a variety of areas such as Information Technology, Legal, Human Resources, Marketing, and Sales. 
 
Susan handles many different aspects of our Client Services.  One of her most challenging tasks is to manage our schedules and appointment calendar.  In a typical day she processes investment applications, account transfers, beneficiary updates, and many other administrative tasks for our client accounts.  She assists our clients by phone and email.
 
Susan and her husband live in StonyBrook. We are very happy to have her as part of our team!
 
 
 

David Tiang

David is responsible for our more complex and specialized computer work. He developed and customized our client management software. This is a database that we use to organize your information so that we can utilize it very efficiently.

One of David's main tasks is to prepare your Account Reviews. He has also improved the format of the Review so that it is more "reader friendly". For those of you who are age 70 ½, David also runs the calculations for the required minimum distributions on your IRAs.

David has a natural ability with computers. He is very organized and a quick study. We've been very fortunate to have him working with us!
